31st December, most of us are in celebration mood, The travel is planned, party is planned, the dance moves on floor take shape in our mind. At bookings in place, Hotels are over booked and what not.
Tomorrow we all will wake up tired and with hangover and may be driving back home getting ready to hit office on 2nd and get on same rat race for next 364 days
but for last 30 years, I had never stepped out of my desk on this day, No drinks, dance or travel because its personal audit day for me
Its a day to audit your last 364 days so that your next 365 days become meaningful and add value to your and your family life
Its a day to do SWOT analysis of last 364 days, pen down the how you will convert threats to opportunities and weakness to strength
Open a new note book which you will use for next 365 days. Write down your last 364 days SWOT and on 2nd page write your SWOT which you drive from last 364 days SWOT. Pen down the corrections you will put in new year. Rest assured when you will read these two pages on next 31 December, you will be surprised. You can involve your children's and wife in this exercise and make them part of your success
What you achieve out of this practice is a good question. My 30 years experience say No depression, stress, frustration.
Remember a fundamental rule of success. Never speak lie to yourself
