1.Overview of the Project:
The project involved the design and installation of a robust Air Handling Unit (AHU) atOne of Our Esteemed Converter of Nonwoven Extruder Machine in Western India.  .

2.Total Load Capacity:
With an impressive total load capacity of approximately 1900 KW, the AHU is well-equipped to handle the facility's present and future needs.

3.Chiller System:
The AHU incorporates an advanced air-cooled chiller system with a capacity of 456 KW, featuring three working units and an additional provision for future expansion.

4.MCCBs for Chiller System:
To ensure efficient control, there are eight MCCBs (Molded Case Circuit Breakers) specifically designed for the air-cooled chiller system.

5.Primary Pump Configuration:
The primary pump, with a power rating of 11 KW, is supported by a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and a bypass star-delta starter.

6.Secondary Pumps - Air-Washer and AHU Panel Room:
Two secondary pumps, with power ratings of 22 KW and 3.75 KW respectively, cater to the CHW Coil Air-Washer and AHU Panel Room.

7.Secondary Pump for PHE and 3-Way Motorized Valve:
A specialized secondary pump with a 5.5 KW VFD addresses the needs of the Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE) and a 3-way motorized valve with intelligent modulation.

8.Control Features for VFDs:
Each VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) is equipped with essential controls including start, stop push buttons, fault lamps, speed set potentiometer, and speed Digital Panel Meter (DPM).

9.Main ACB Configuration:
A pivotal component of the system is a main 4000A Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) with all required accessories.

10.Monitoring and Metering:
The installation includes a set of RYB lamps and an energy meter with three Current Transformers (CT) for efficient monitoring and metering.

11.Enclosures by Rittal:
The AHU panels are housed in Rittal make panel enclosures, ensuring durability and a secure environment for the sophisticated components.

12.Cabinet Accessories:
Each cabinet is equipped with essential accessories such as fans, filters, door limit switches, and tube lights to facilitate easy access and maintenance.

13.Future-Ready Design:
The system is designed with a forward-thinking approach, providing a 467 KW provision for future expansions and enhancements.

14.Efficiency and Sustainability:
By incorporating Variable Frequency Drives, the AHU system optimizes energy consumption, contributing to both efficiency and sustainability.
